The life of a dividend investor is Invest - Recieve Dividends - Re-invest, thatโs what I have been doing actively since November 2020. I am incredibly happy to announce that in these 2 years I have made over $16k in dividends. ๐๐๐ You can see all the detail of the portfolio here.

๐ธ Dividends 2 years
I started my investment journey from $4,942.82 - all the cash I had at that time and as I was liquaditing my acorns portfolio to transfer to M1, the first dividend that I got was from $AAPL of $0.45. The portfolio has reached to ATH of $351,308.39. The portfolio consists of 91.02% dividend stock and $U is the only non-dividend stock at 8.98%.
I received an average of $805.95 per month. In 2020, my average monthly dividend was $115.37, in 2021 the average monthly dividend grew by 547.63% to $631.7975. Now, in 2022, the average monthly dividend is $ 1,384.45 (including June) which is an increment of 219.13% in comparison to 2021. The average monthly dividend for 2022, not including June is $ 1,555.03. This is in line with my predicted dividend income from my chart at $1,584.67 (Rs. 198,834.64) which is more than enough for a comfortable life in Nepal.
$QYLD with dividends of $2,495.43 highest dividend giver and $O with 18 months of dividends is the most consistent, and $COST with an increase of 13.9% increase is the highest dividend CAGR.
๐ฐ Dividends 2022
Now letโs talk about dividends in 2022. My dividend yield reached 6.18% with a beta of 1.000217417 and a 3-year dividend CAGR of 12.85%. So, technically, given everything remains the same, my dividend income in June 2024, when I am 30, should be over $2,000 and in the next 10 years should be over $5,000. Given, that I will be re-investing, plus adding more to the portfolio from my active income, it should be greater.
My hourly passive income wage has reached $ 9.14 and my expected yearly dividend income is $ 19,016.08. Jan 2022 was the highest dividend month for me with $2,258.00, a special thanks to $QYLD for special dividends.
๐ฎ Future
So, for the future, the plan is going to be a bit different than what I have been focusing on. Moving forward, I will be focusing more on dividend stocks with higher CAGR like $COST, $HD, and $JPM, and EFT like $VOO. For high dividend yield stocks like $NRZ, and $AGNC, I will plan on trading and selling at an appropriate time.
